HeyGen Scripts & Avatar Video Tips
HeyGen quality depends heavily on script pacing and punctuation, since the avatar lip-syncs and paces speech based on your text. These patterns are built for that.

Tips for Better Results
- Use ellipses (...) and short sentences to create natural pauses — long run-on sentences make the avatar's pacing feel rushed.
- Record or type numbers, acronyms, and brand names exactly how they should sound spoken (e.g. spell out tricky pronunciations).
- Keep training/demo videos under 3-4 minutes; completion rates fall sharply on longer avatar videos.
- Match the avatar's tone to the script's formality — a casual script with a very formal avatar reads oddly.
